Since 1989, the original collection of the initial regional museum was further supplemented by the acquisition of new items. The old collection, accrued between 1989 and 2002, contains approximately 1,100 collection exhibits.
Since 2002, the MMP1917 has acquired about 2,300 exhibits through purchases, donations and excavations, in line with the approach for the MMP1917 established in 2004.
