In Flanders Fields Museum
The In Flanders Field Museum tells the story of World War I in the West Flanders front region, from the invasion in Belgium to the end of the war. Together with lifelike characters, interactive exhibits and authentic objects, they let you experience the years 1914-18 for yourself.
Talbot House is a unique British World War I soldiers’ club that still exudes the authentic atmosphere of the time. Here friendship, relaxation and (spiritual) peace were central. Discover the stories in a new exhibition with over 500 historical objects or through a renewed interactive tablet tour of the historic House.
The Old Cheese Factory
Somewhere in Flanders fields you will find Sint-Jozef, a cheese factory from the interbellum. In this beautiful piece of heritage, we bring the rich tradition of cheese making back to life in a fascinating, interactive way and you will learn everything you always wanted to know about cheeses but never dared to ask. The Old Cheese Factory also offers a miniature golf course with no less than 18 different courses!
