The collection of the former Hill 60 museum was acquired together with the City of Ypres in 2007 through subsidies from the Flemish Government and the Province of West Flanders. This collection was received during 2008. The collection, which contains mainly weapons, ammunition and logistic materials, forms a complementary addition to the Vieux-Berquin collection.
