With support from the Province of West Flanders, we are transforming our former cinema space into an immersive experience. From 1 February 2024, you will be able to experience the story of the Battle of Passchendaele in a unique way in this new space. By stepping into the landscape of 1917, you will see how the battle took place while the environment was systematically destroyed.
The construction of the immersive experience is being realised by Create Studio, with support from the technical department of the Municipality of Zonnebeke. This company has already completed many wonderful projects, such as “Meet the Masters” in Brussels and “1302” in the Church of Our Lady in Kortrijk. They will furnish the space in 2023. Visitors can follow the progress of the work via a viewing wall.
