On a school trip to the Passchendaele Museum
Are you planning the activities calendar for your class? Still looking for inspiration for a cultural visit or school trip? Then the Passchendaele Museum, near Ypres, is the perfect choice!

Discover the moving wartime past of Zonnebeke and take your pupils on a journey through the history of the First World War and the Battle of Passchendaele in the museum’s interactive displays.
Descend into the reconstructed dugout, explore the recreated British and German trenches, and step into the immersive exhibition Passchendaele 1917.
A guided tour will make your visit even more rewarding. And even on a rainy day, a museum trip is always a great idea.
Child-friendly trail
During their visit, primary school pupils can take part free of charge in the activity “Exploring with Lisa, Louis and Maurice”. With a fold-out map in hand, they set off on a journey of discovery and learn about the Great War in a playful, engaging way. Along the route they complete tasks and challenges.
