The Australian Army Band is one of Australia’s premier military music organisations, providing musical support that enhances the public image and operational effectiveness of the Australian Army.
With members located across Australia, the Australian Army Band delivers a broad range of musical capability, from symphonic wind band and swing repertoire through to jazz, contemporary, and rock styles.
As part of the Australian Army Band Corps, its musicians are not only professional performers, but soldier musicians who support ceremonial, community, and Defence activities while maintaining the standards and discipline expected of Army personnel.
Drawing on a proud military tradition, the Australian Army Band represents the Australian Army in Australia and abroad through performances that reflect professionalism, versatility, and excellence in music.

Australian Army soldier and saxaphone player, Musician (Warrant Officer Class Two) Rick Barnett performs with the Australian Army Band in the dark hours leading up to the Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Australian National Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux War Cemetery, France.
