| Passendalenaar van geboorte kom ik na 26 jaar nog vaak naar Tyne Cot. Het blijft mij altijd boeien en ontroeren. Het bezoekerscentrum is subliem. Er straalt een haast sacrale sfeer van uit. Chapeau voor de ontwerpers. | |

| I visited Tyne Cot in May 2006 and found the plaque with my great uncle's name. It was a very moving experience and meant I could fullfill a promise I made to my English Grandma - to find her brother. I am researching his record to help the family remember him and the sacrifice he made. I hope to visit again. |
